Joining Process
Whether you’ve never touched a bow or you’re a seasoned archer looking for a new club home, there’s a route in for you. If you’re not sure which path fits, just get in touch – we’re happy to point you in the right direction.
Complete Beginner
No experience? No problem. This is where most of our members start.
Book a Taster Session – a coached taster for £5, separate from the Beginner’s Course. A low-commitment way to see if archery clicks before you commit to the full six weeks. Taster Sessions are not mandatory to complete a Beginner’s Couse.
Sign up for a Beginner’s Course – six sessions on consecutive Sundays, two hours each. Cost: £90.
Complete the course – you’ll receive a completion certificate signed by our coaches.
Apply for full membership – your certificate unlocks access to the club and shooting facilities.

Some experience
You’ve tried archery before but it’s been a while, or you’ve never formally trained.
Sign up for a Beginner’s Course – same six-week Sunday course. Cost: £90.
Complete the course and receive your certificate.
Apply for full membership.
Experienced archer
You’ve shot regularly, have your own equipment, and have been a member of another club.
Get in touch here to introduce yourself.
Come in for a safety assessment – a short session with one of our coaches to check you’re shooting safely and are a good fit for the club.
Apply for full membership once approved.

F.A.Q.
The minimum age is 12. Junior members must also be able to draw a 16lb (8kg) bow.
Yes – anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult throughout their course. We ask that young archers are not dropped off unsupervised.
Absolutely – Path A is designed exactly for that. Most of our members started with zero experience.
You’ll receive a completion certificate signed by our coaches, which lets you apply for full club membership and access the shooting facilities independently.
