Gold at the Aim for Paris Challenge

The results are in for this year’s Aim for Paris Challenge, held to celebrate the Paris Olympics, and City of Chester Archers had a strong showing.

A big thank you to everyone who took part. It was fantastic to see so many members competing at our outdoor range. Special thanks also go to Mark and everyone involved in getting the outdoor space set up and ready. Events like this only happen because people step up behind the scenes.

Now to the results.

We had entries across a great mix of categories, but the standout performance came in the Women’s 60 Metre Recurve.

Our own Amanda M secured first place.

An outstanding achievement. Amanda has earned herself a gold Aim for Paris badge and shown exactly what consistent practice and focus can achieve. A brilliant result for her and for the club.

To everyone who took part, well done. Whether you set a personal best, picked up experience at a new distance, or simply enjoyed being part of the day, you represented the club with pride. That willingness to take part is what builds momentum and raises standards for everyone.
