As Start Archery Week fast approaches, we wanted to give a proper welcome to all the new archers who’ve joined us over the last few months.
We’re genuinely thrilled to have you with us. Whether you’ve been shooting for years or you’re still figuring out which way round the bow goes (no judgement – we’ve all been there), you’re now part of the club. And that matters.
Here’s how we make sure you feel right at home:
1. A Proper Welcome
From your first step onto the range, expect smiles, handshakes and plenty of friendly faces. We’re always happy to help – and we love seeing new archers find their rhythm.
2. Support When You Need It
Got a question about form? Equipment? Scoring? Something not quite clicking? Ask. That’s what we’re here for. There’s no such thing as a silly question – only arrows that occasionally go sideways.
3. A Club for Everyone
Archery is for all ages, abilities and backgrounds. However you found your way here, you belong. Simple as that.
4. Celebrating the Wins
First gold. First personal best. First full round completed. These moments matter. Keep track of your scores, watch your progress build, and work towards your badges – we’ll be cheering you on the whole way.
5. Your Voice Counts
This isn’t just “the committee’s club.” It’s our club. If you’ve got ideas, suggestions or feedback, speak up. Clubs grow stronger when everyone has a say.
